Abuse and getting help

If you or someone you know is getting abused there is support available. It may be frightening to tell someone but its the best thing you can do to ensure your or someone else’s safety. There are lots of helplines there to talk to you about your options and offer support.

National Services

Dublin Rape crisis centre - Anyone affected by rape, sexual assault or other forms of sexual violence can call the National Rape Crisis Helpline 1800 778888, a free and confidential listening and support service run by Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. Skilled crisis counsellors offer non-judgmental support to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
